At age twenty, Patt Marr graduated
from college with honors and with child. She's been a wife,
mother, business teacher, guidance counselor and church
leader in music, education, drama and TV production. Always
ready to try what she felt the Lord wanted, Patt has worked
with every age group of boys and girls, men and women. She
claims to have learned more than she taught and laughed more
than she probably ought.
When she bought her first computer, Patt--a voracious reader
and the writer of countless scripts and lesson
plans--believed it should be easy to write a book,
especially if she joined Romance Writers of America and
learned from authors, agents and editors how to write and
sell a great story.
Writing a novel was so easy, it only took Patt ten years to
see her name on a cover. Angel in Disguise won the
National Readers Choice Award for Best Inspirational Romance
and was published by Steeple Hill, the faith-based division
of Harlequin Enterprises. She dedicated her second book,
Man of Her Dreams, to the man of her own dreams, college
sweetheart and life-time husband, David Marr.
Patt chose to write genre fiction for Steeple Hill to
develop a readership through their thousands of book club
subscribers and the other thousands who can afford a cover
price of under $5...or find her books at a garage sale for a
quarter. She chose to write inspirational romance because it
makes her very happy to share love, laughter and faith in
the Lord.

Man of Her Dreams
Meg Talbot had prayed for Mr. Right, but it seemed she was
destined to remain manless. Until her childhood crush-and
her best friend's brother--sauntered back into he life. . .
Rebel Ry Brennan preferred being an EMT in NYC to joining
the family's practice. His impulsive return to California
was one surprise, and the newly converted Christian was in
for another: Meg was all grown up. . .and gorgeous! Their
relationship soon blossomed. But when she learned Ry planned
to become a doctor, Meg was stunned and disappointed--she'd
dreamed of a husband who was always around, unlike her own
father. Could Ry convince her that despite long hours of
residency their love could flourish?
"It was exciting to see what each new chapter would
bring...it's one of those books you don't want to put down.
And if you read Marr's first book, you'll be happy to see
those characters reappear as secondary characters in this
new one."

Angel in Disguise
"In Angel in Disguise, though there were many serious
life situations, it was well written with the main
characters of Pete and Sunny the key to handling them with
humor and love.
The character of Pete Maquire was well representative of
someone whose life has been altered by chronic pain, and
disability. It is a subject that so many experience, but so
few who don't experience, understand. It affects you
mentally and physically. It was great to see how and Sunny
Keegan could accept and love him, even with his handicap.
Sunny's personality was a joy also. Both were a testament to
what God can do in one's life, if we allow Him in.
Pete and Sunny played off each other well and it was
pleasent to read a book where the couple were not constantly
fighting to stop the relationship that was unfolding
throughout the story. The humor that was weaved throughout
the book was wonderful."
