Meredith Efken
has experienced much of what she describes in SAHM I Am.
From smelly wall art and “terrible two’s” to innocent
bouquets of half-wilted dandelions and slobbery toddler
kisses, Meredith enjoys the life of a stay-at-home mom –
despite the challenges. She and her husband Jason find that
parenting and homeschooling daughters Jessamyn (adopted from
Kunming, China) and Catrin (“homegrown”) keeps their lives
entertaining, interesting, and busy. They hope to soon add
to their family through another adoption from China.
Meredith is a member of American Christian Fiction Writers
as well as Word Sowers Christian Writers – a local group she
co-founded. She leads a home group with Jason through their
church, the Omaha Vineyard, is a member of the worship team,
and is a student in the Vineyard Leadership Institute. She
and her family live in an 1880’s Victorian home they are
restoring in Nebraska.
